Chasing Numemon (Step-by-Step):
As soon as you enter Dum Dum Factory, you will run into Numemon again.

In this puzzle, you will chase Numemon around the factory. Here’s exactly where to go:
Step 1: From the entrance, walk up. Head past the first intersection, then turn left at the second intersection.

Step 2: The game will proceed automatically here. You will return to the second intersection and watch Numemon enter a room.

Step 3: Head left, then turn up at the intersection. Continue forward and then climb down the ladder to access Duct Room 01.
You won’t find Numemon inside the room, but an item box instead. Open the box to obtain an HP Chip.

Step 4: Exit Duct Room 01, then climb up the ladder.
Head left and go down the intersection here.

Step 5: Keep going left, then turn up at the first intersection. Continue up, then turn left at the second intersection.

Step 6: Keep going left until you get to the end of the platform. The game will proceed automatically, and you will run into Numemon again.
Follow after it and enter Duct Room 04. Once again, you will only find an item box inside. Open it to obtain a Mind Chip, then exit the room.

Step 7: Return to the ladder just outside Duct Room 01. Head right past the ladder, then turn up at the intersection.

Step 8: Continue heading up until you get to the next intersection. Again, the game will proceed automatically, and you will see Numemon enter a different room.

Step 9: Return to the ladder outside Duct Room 01. This time, head left past the ladder, then turn up. Keep heading up past the intersection.

Step 10: Continue up, then turn right at the second intersection and climb down the ladder to access Duct Room 02.
Inside the room, you will find an item box with an MP Chip.

Step 11: Exit Duct Room 02. Climb up the ladder and then take your first turn here. Continue to the striped floor.

Step 12: Once you step on the striped floor, you will see Numemon again.

Step 13: From the striped floor, walk down and then turn left at the intersection towards his position. Keep going left, then turn up at the second intersection to access Duct Room 03.
Repeat the usual drill and open the item box inside the room to obtain a Power Chip.

Step 14: Exit Duct Room 03, then head down. Continue down past the intersection, then turn left at the second one and continue left.

Step 15: Once you get to the end of the platform, you will see Numemon entering yet another room.

Step 16: Head right from your current spot, then turn up at the intersection. Continue forward and then turn right at the second intersection.

Step 17: Continue going right, then turn up at the intersection to get to the striped floor again. Walk up the stairs to enter the Operation Room.

Operation Room
Inside the Operation Room, climb the stairs nearby.

Continue until you get to the end of the path, then turn up and walk up the stairs.

Once you get to the top of the stairs, you will find HiAndromon in front of the monitors. Heal your party before proceeding, then talk to HiAndromon.
After you ask it about Numemon, HiAndromon will challenge you to a fight.

HiAndromon Boss Fight
| HiAndromon Details | |
|---|---|
| Elemental Weakness | Thunder, Water |
| Neutral Damage | Darkness, Fire, Wind |
| Elemental Resistance | Ice, Machine |
HiAndromon is a glass cannon. While its attacks will hit quite hard, dealing between 400 and 600 damage.
Watch out for HiAndromon’s signature technique, Atomic Ray, which has a small chance of instantly KO’ing your Digimon.
As long as you exploit its weaknesses, HiAndromon will go down in two or three hits. If you struggle to defeat HiAndromon, try raising your Rookie Digimon up to level 23.
After you defeat it, HiAndromon will unlock the door to the sewers, and will also tell you Numemon’s location. You will also obtain a Rusty Rifle, which is part of the Legendary Weapons sidequest.

You will automatically exit the Operation Room after the dialogue.
From the Operation Room exit, climb down the two ladders, turn left, then climb down the third ladder. Continue to the door to access the Secret Stairs.

Secret Stairs
Walk down the first two stairs, then turn left. Continue going down the stairs here to access the factory’s sewers.

Inside the Sewers
In the sewers, walk forward from the entrance and turn left.

Keep going left until you get to the metal platform. Once you step on the platform turn up and continue along the linear path.

Keep following the linear path until you get to the ladder.

Climb up the ladder, then turn right. Continue going right until the end of the path.

The game will proceed automatically from this point. This part is quite long, so make sure you have enough time to play through everything.
You will see a WaruMonzaemon threatening Lisa. Naturally, you will step in to help her, and challenge the Digimon to a fight.

WaruMonzaemon Boss Fight
| WaruMonzaemon Details | |
|---|---|
| Elemental Weakness | None |
| Neutral Damage | Fire, Machine, Thunder, Water, Wind |
| Elemental Resistance | Darkness, Ice |
WaruMonzaemon is probably the toughest boss you’ve faced up to this point in the game.
Aside from having no elemental weaknesses, WaruMonzaemon hits like a truck. Its attacks will deal between 800 and 1,200 damage, but can go up to 1,800 with a critical.
To make matters worse, WaruMonzaemon is also extremely fast, and will often get two turns in a row. Be prepared to burn through your healing items, including a Life Disk or two to get your KO’ed Digimon back up.
The Counter Crest comes up huge in this fight.
A single activation will likely be enough to one-shot WaruMonzaemon. However, because of its high Speed stat, WaruMonzaemon has a chance of evading your counters.
Occasionally, the boss will give you some time to breathe by casting its signature technique, Heartbreak Attack. This tech will only deal about 200 damage, although it will also lower your Digimon’s Strength. For this reason, relying on a magic user is the better strategy for this fight.
If you struggle to beat WaruMonzaemon, which is perfectly normal, try getting your party up to level 25 in the sewers. And if you do not have a Counter Crest yet, consider returning to Bullet Valley to obtain one.
After You Win
After the fight, Numemon will show up and remove the disguise to reveal his identity – none other than Lucky Mouse himself.

Lucky Mouse will then take you and Lisa to his Secret Room, and will then reveal the truth behind Digimon Online and the A.o.A’s plan.
Halfway through, you three will be interrupted by A.o.A members, who will show up holding Kail hostage.
Read through the dialogue and you will learn that Lucky Mouse is actually Kail’s older brother, Kurt.
Following a long exchange, Kurt will return a Digitama to the A.o.A in exchange for Kail’s safety. However, before the A.o.A members leave, one of them will try to shoot Kail. Kurt will jump in front, and will get turned into an Oinkmon.
The attacker’s gun will fail after that, giving you an opening to step in and challenge him to a fight.

A.o.A Attacker Boss Fight
| A.o.A Attacker Details | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Digimon | Elemental Weaknesses | Neutral Damage | Elemental Resistances |
| Monzaemon | Fire | Darkness, Machine, Thunder, Water, Wind | Ice |
| Nanimon | None | Darkness, Fire, Ice, Machine, Thunder, Water, Wind | None |
Monzaemon is much weaker than its side form. Its attacks will only deal between 200 and 400 damage.
Monzaemon’s signature technique, Heart Attack, will lower your Digimon’s Strength, but will not deal any damage. Once again, a magic user will likely have an easier time in this fight.
Just like its side form, however, Monzaemon is also quite fast. It will occasionally get to move twice in a turn, and will evade a few attacks.
Nanimon, in a vacuum, probably wouldn’t pose much of a problem. However with your party likely running on fumes after the WaruMonzaemon fight, Nanimon will be extremely annoying to deal with.
Aside from not having any weaknesses, Nanimon boasts an incredibly high Speed stat, despite being only a Champion-level Digimon. More often than not, it will get two moves in a row. Its high Speed will also make Nanimon evade your attacks quite often.
Keep your Digimon’s HP topped up to avoid surprise KO’s from critical hits. Getting a single Counter Crest activation will cause a huge momentum swing, and will give you an opening to quickly finish the fight off.
After driving the A.o.A Attacker away, you will decide to confront the Game Master about her plans.
