Byakko City – Underground Cave
In order to learn how to access the Amaterasu Server, you will need to talk to the A.o.A members.
Head over to the North Sector via Plug Cape, then make your way to Byakko City.
Once you get to the city continue to the Byakko Dome.
The Mirage Tower resistance successfully recaptured Byakko. You will need to enter the Underground Cave next, where the A.o.A members are being held.
From the dome’s entrance, take the path to the right.

Continue to the end of the path, past the Divermon, to enter the Underground Cave.

In the cave, either jump down the ledge or climb down the ladder. Walk southwest and you will see the fake Byakko Leader.

Talk to the former fake leader and he will tell you about A.o.A’s methods to travel between servers.

You will need to find Bulbmon once again. So head over to Phoenix Bay in the South Sector.
Phoenix Bay
An earthquake will happen as soon as you approach the entrance to Suzaku City.

After that, continue to Suzaku, then enter the Suzaku Hall.
Once you enter the Hall, you will notice that the Suzaku Leader isn’t there. Walk up the stairs, turn left, then talk to the Patamon in front of the stage.

Having learned about the Suzaku Leader’s whereabouts, return to Phoenix Bay.
Back in Phoenix Bay, head south along the pier, then turn west once you spot the sign post.

Keep going west until the end of the path to enter Ether Jungle.

The Ether Jungle
From the jungle’s entrance, walk west and continue west past the Kicking Trees.

Keep going west past the clearing.

Next, turn northwest past the pole, and continue northwest.

Keep going northwest until the stairs come into view.
At that point just walk up the stairs.

Walk to the end of the stairs to enter the Jungle Shrine.

Jungle Shrine
From the entrance, walk down the two sets of stairs, then continue to the right side of the room.

Turn right past the candles, then continue across the Torii gate to enter the catacombs.

Inside the Catacombs
From the catacombs’ entrance, walk down the stairs, then turn right.

Keep going right, then turn down in front of the next set of stairs. You will then see the Suzaku Leader at the end of the path.

The Suzaku Leader will show you the security hole in the catacombs, leading to the Amaterasu Server.
After some convincing, she will let you through. Heal your party before proceeding.
Then climb down the rope ladder and enter the security hole to access the Bug Maze.

Navigating the Bug Maze (Step-by-Step)
Step 1: From the entrance, walk down the ramp. Turn right and walk to the top corner.
Position yourself between the empty hex tile with the yellow outline and the leftmost green hex tile.

Step 2: Once you get between the two hexagons, you will see a ladder icon. Press “X” to climb the invisible ladder, then continue along the linear path.

Step 3: Once you get to the fork in the road, turn right, then continue down along the linear path.

Step 4: Keep going along the linear path, then turn right and down again to access the next area.

Step 5: Heal your party before proceeding here. When you’re ready, walk up the ramp and then continue to the large dark spot on the ground.

The game will proceed automatically from this point. Bulbmon will pop out of the ground to fight you.

Bulbmon Boss Fight
| Bulbmon Details | |
|---|---|
| Elemental Weakness | Thunder |
| Neutral Damage | Dark, Fire, Wind |
| Elemental Resistance | Ice, Machine, Water |
This time around you will have a proper fight against Bulbmon. Although its weaknesses haven’t changed, Bulbmon will be a lot more difficult to take down.
Just like in the first fight, watch out for its signature technique, Mud Bomb.
You will also have a new mechanic to deal with, as Bulbmon will keep spamming Speed Up.
If you don’t take it down quickly enough, Bulbmon will become a real threat. With the Speed boosts, the machine Digimon will be able to move up to three times per turn, and will constantly evade your attacks.
Once again, relying on Thunder techniques will be your best strategy here. If Bulbmon’s Speed boosts get out of hand, just use some Mach Plugs to boost your Digimon’s Speed too.
After You Win
After Bulbmon goes down, you will be able to proceed to the next area.

From the entrance, head forward past the fork, and then the path will become linear once again.

Continue until the end of the maze and you will reach the Amaterasu Server.

Amaterasu Server – Forest Inn Basement
You will find yourself in Amaterasu’s Forest Inn’s basement. Walk up the two sets of stairs, and then the game will proceed automatically.
You will run into a young boy, who will introduce himself as Kenny and will then give you a report on Amaterasu’s current situation.
After the conversation ends, Kenny will give you a Crony ID, which will let you circulate around Amaterasu.

About the Amaterasu Server
Amaterasu is a 1:1 copy of the Asuka Server, with a different color palette. The maps are exactly the same, only with different names for the cities.
| City Names | |
|---|---|
| Asuka Server | Amaterasu Server |
| Asuka City | Amaterasu City |
| Seiryu City | Qing Long City |
| Suzaku City | Zhu Que City |
| Byakko City | Bai Hu City |
| Genbu City | Xuan Wu City |
The wild Digimon in Amaterasu are much stronger than the ones back in the Asuka Server, and give roughly the same EXP. Therefore, you shouldn’t waste time grinding around here.
Just complete the main story quests, then return to the Asuka Server as soon as you are done.
Next up, you will have to look for the DigiEgg of Knowledge in the Amaterasu Server.
