Quick Guide

1 Investigate the shrine in BIOS Swamp.
2 Obtain a TNT Chip from Baronmon in the Protocol Ruins.
3 Return to the shrine to get the DigiEgg of Sincerity.
4 Call Submarimon at Plug Cape and head over to the West Sector.

Phoenix Bay

Having been set off by the Game Master on the Lucky Mouse chase, head over to Phoenix Bay in the South Sector.

From the entrance, turn south and continue along the linear path until you reach the bridge.

Past the bridge, turn north this time and continue along the wooden crossing.

Past the crossing, talk to Nami on the island. She will then tell you about the Crest of Reliability behind the shrine in BIOS Swamp.

Note: The game has a major translation error, as the “DigiEgg of Sincerity” is actually the DigiEgg of Reliability. Going forward, you will probably notice quite a few inconsistencies, with the characters’ dialogue and the place names constantly alternating between these two crests.

BIOS Swamp

After talking to Nami, return to Bulk Bridge.

From the exit leading to Phoenix Bay, turn east and continue along the linear path.

Walk behind the shrine and press “X” to check the Crest of Reliability. However, you will not be able to enter the shrine. To do that you will need a TNT Chip.

So let’s see how to get one.

Tranquil Swamp – Shaman House

After checking the shrine, head over to the Shaman House in Tranquil Swamp.

Talk to Sepikmon inside the house. Sepikmon will then suggest you talk to Baronmon, in the Protocol Ruins.

Getting a TNT Ball

Baronmon will require a TNT Ball for the TNT Chip.

Now if you spent some time grinding in Tyranno Valley, you probably have quite a few TNT Balls in your inventory.

However, in case you do not have one yet, head over to Tyranno Valley first. Keep fighting the Triceramon there until you get a TNT Ball.

Triceramon is the most common wild encounter in Tyranno Valley, and the TNT Ball has a drop rate of about 25%.

In other words, it shouldn’t take too long to get one.

Protocol Ruins – Obtaining the TNT Chip

With the TNT Ball in hand, head over to the Protocol Ruins in Protocol Forest.

Climb up the stone column on the far-left, then talk to Baronmon twice in order to obtain the TNT Chip.

Obtaining the DigiEgg of Sincerity

With the TNT Chip now in hand, return to BIOS Swamp in the South Sector.

The game will proceed automatically as soon as you enter the swamp. You will then rig the TNT Chip behind the shrine to blow open a hole.

Inside the shrine, climb down the ladder and continue to the altar. As soon as you approach the altar, the game will proceed automatically, and you will get the DigiEgg.

Plug Cape

Make your way back from Kicking Forest to the Central Park, in the Central Sector.

Then walk west from the entrance until you get to the square. Keep going west from the square and follow the sand path.

From Plug Cape’s entrance, walk down the slope and then turn west. Continue past the cobblestone bridge.

Tip: You can fight Shellmon on the bridge. Shellmon gives some decent EXP, so you should consider spending some time grinding in this spot. Try raising your Rookie Digimon up to level 20, which will unlock their main Ultimate form. Raise your other Ultimate/Mega digivolutions up to Skill LV 50, which will let you unlock and load powerful techniques.

Seabed – Controlling Submarimon & Heading to the West Sector

Controlling Submarimon can be tricky at first, as it requires some unusual inputs.

The “triangle” button will move forward, while the D-pad will rotate Submarimon.

By pressing the “triangle” button, you will also make Submarimon dive. Releasing the button will make Submarimon float.
