Noise Desert
Having made your way from Pelche Oasis back to the Noise Desert, follow the path leading up to Byakko City.
Once you get to the sharp rock, head west past the rock this time.

Keep going west until you get to the cacti, then turn southwest past them.

Keep going southwest, then walk down the slope and turn west to continue into the next area.

S Noise Desert
In the southern part of Noise Desert, head southwest from the entrance, then turn south past the stone marker.

Continue to the end of the linear path to enter the Mobius Desert.
Crossing the Mobius Desert & Reaching Mirage Tower (Step-by-Step)
Step 1: From the desert’s entrance, head west until you are past the cacti, then turn southwest once you get to the second circuit board pattern.

Step 2: Keep going southwest, then turn west past the stone pillars and the DDNA Agent. Continue west to the next area.

Step 3: In the second area, head west from the entrance. Continue west past the first two poles, then turn southwest at the third pole.

Step 4: Keep going southwest until you reach the fourth pole, then turn west again.

Step 5: Continue heading west until you get to the third area.

Step 6: In the third area, head west from the entrance, then turn north past the cactus. Keep going north to reach the fourth area.

Step 7: Just keep going north in the fourth area and you will get to the fifth area.

Step 8: Again, just keep going north in the fifth and final area, and you will arrive at Mirage Tower.

Mirage Tower
Once you get to Mirage Tower, walk up the stairs to enter the resistance’s home.

Inside the tower, walk forward and climb up the three ladders.
You will be able to buy two-handed weapons from Gargomon. As a whole, two-handed weapons are considered a better alternative to one-handed weapons, despite the slight drop in Defense.

Once you climb up the third ladder, turn up and continue to the Byakko Leader’s room.

In the leader’s room, climb up the ladder and continue to the end of the linear path.
Heal your party before proceeding, then talk to the real Byakko Leader. He will mistake you for a member of the A.o.A, and will challenge you to a fight.

Real Byakko Leader Boss Fight
| Byakko Leader Details | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Digimon | Elemental Weaknesses | Neutral Damage | Elemental Resistances |
| Flymon (Alt.) | Wind | Fire, Ice, Machine, Water | Darkness, Thunder |
| Tortomon | Ice, Thunder | Darkness, Machine, Wind | Fire, Water |
| Mamemon | Thunder, Water | Darkness, Fire, Wind | Ice, Machine |
The real leader is a much bigger challenge compared to the fake one you fought back in Byakko City.
Flymon has a chance of poisoning your Digimon, a status condition that will deal damage over time.
Since Flymon has a sizable HP pool combined with high defensive stats, dealing with the status condition on top of it could turn into a big problem, so don’t hesitate to use antidotes.
Tortomon is his weakest party member. Despite having a very low Spirit stat, Tortomon will keep spamming Divine Rain and dealing little damage. Simply exploit its elemental weaknesses and you will take Tortomon down in two or three turns.
Mamemon will be quite difficult to deal with. With high Speed, Mamemon will be able to evade attacks, and will occasionally move twice in one turn.
Mamemon’s basic attack has a chance to freeze your Digimon. When frozen, your Digimon will have a 50% chance of being unable to move, which will make it miss a turn. To make matters worse, Mamemon is also extremely tanky and will be able to drag the fight on.
Keep exploiting Mamemon’s elemental weaknesses, and heal through the damage as necessary.
As usual, try not to let your Digimon get below 30% HP in order to avoid a KO from a critical hit.
After the fight, you will clear the misunderstanding. The Byakko Leader will then give you the Byakko Badge, and will also tell you about Numemon’s location.

Heading to Dum Dum Factory
Make your way back through the Mobius and Noise deserts, then Pelche Oasis, and return to the North Badlands W.
Once you get back to the badlands, head south on the glyph and then turn east at the intersection.

Keep going east, then walk up the ramp and continue east.

Keep going this direction until you can turn to walk up the second ramp.

From here, walk northeast from the second ramp, then continue up the third ramp. Continue to the end of the linear path to enter Bullet Valley.

Walk east from Bullet Valley’s entrance, then turn north past the Hagurumon-shaped mechanism. Continue up the slope.

Head east past the first slope, then turn and walk up the second slope.
Continue up the metal stairs here and then turn east to enter Dum Dum Factory.

Next in the main story, you will play a game of cat and mouse with Numemon in the factory.
