Fruit Cows are a special kind of cow unique to Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. They reside inside the barn and produce Fruit Milk daily.

A Fruit Cow can be bought from Yodel Ranch for 10,000 G.

Fruit Milk

A mature Fruit Cow will produce one bottle of Fruit Milk per day as long as it has been fed with Fodder or Grass the day before. The quality of Milk increases with friendship level, and Specialty Milk will sell for a higher price.

Fruit Milk can only be collected using the Milker.

Acquiring Fruit Cows

A Fruit Cow purchased from Yodel Ranch will arrive as a calf and mature quickly in 9 days, if it is fed daily. If a day of feeding is skipped, it will delay its growth by one day up to a maximum of 14 days until it fully matures.

Alternatively you can also buy Breeding Kits from Yodel Ranch. A breeding kit can be used on any mature Fruit Cow to induce pregnancy and birth in 21 days. If a feeding is skipped, the pregnancy is delayed by one day up to a maximum of 30 days.

When a Breeding Kit is used to produce a baby Fruit Cow, the baby will mature into a calf in 14 days. Its growth will be delayed by one day in the event of a missed feeding, up to a maximum of 20 days.

Tip: It will take 23 days to fully raise a Fruit Cow from baby to adult if it is fed a piece of Fodder every day. By comparison, purchasing directly from Yodel Ranch will get you a cow that starts producing Fruit Milk after just 9 days on the farm.

Selling Fruit Cows

Fruit Cows can be sold back to Mugi at any life stage.

Note: Specialty Cows will always sell at a loss even after achieving maximum production quality.
