| Description | The traveling merchant Van comes to your farm and lets you know that he’s going to start doing business in Mineral Town. |
| Result | After this event, Van will start opening his shop on the 2nd floor of the Inn on Wednesdays. He will also begin operating his pet shop on the 15th of each month. |
