Every year on Summer 7th, the Cluck-Cluck Clash festival is held in Rose Plaza to determine the town’s champion chicken. Winning the Cluck-Cluck Clash will allow your prized chicken to lay Golden Eggs, and eventually Platinum and X Eggs.

Requirements
The only requirement to enter the contest is to have one adult chicken on your farm.

On Summer 6th, the day before the festival, Rick will visit your farm in the morning to invite you to the festival. You can then choose which adult chicken to enter.
Generally the higher the heart level of the chicken, the better your chances of winning. Try to have at least 5-8 hearts with your chicken before entering.

Event Details
To participate in the festival, head to Rose Plaza any time after 10:00 AM on Summer 7th. When you’re ready to begin just speak to Rick to start the tournament.

The goal of the minigame is to startle the opposing chicken and push it out of the ring.
Winning is mostly based on luck, but having a higher heart level with your chicken increases your chances.
A good strategy is to wait for the opposing chicken to get close and then spam the “startle” action. Your chicken will compete in 3 rounds, and winning all of them will make you the champion.
Prizes & Benefits
The first time you win the Cluck-Cluck Clash, you will be awarded with a trophy that can be displayed in your farmhouse. You will also earn +20 friendship points with all villagers for winning.

If your chicken has 8 hearts or more when it wins, it will also begin laying Golden Eggs.
Depending on other factors, it may also start to produce Platinum or X Eggs. You can visit our Eggs wiki page to learn more about these higher quality items.
