Huang can act as a merchant who will sell you rare goods, but he’ll also buy items from you as well.
You can start selling to Huang after you see his second heart event. The event is unlocked once you reach either 20,000 LP or 4 friendship notes with him.
How To Start Selling to Huang
Huang will first arrive in Mineral Town on Spring 3rd. He will introduce himself to you as the local merchant and start selling you items like strange Apples or furniture.
You can then start to visit his shop at Zack’s house, which is located on the northeastern corner of Mineral Beach.
At this point, you can buy items like flower seeds from Huang’s store, but you won’t be able to sell goods to him yet unless you unlock his second heart event.
To do that, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:
- Have at least 20,000 LP or 4 friendship notes with Huang
- Have seen the previous heart event (Special Apples)
- Then walk into Zack’s house on any day between 11:10 AM and 4:00 PM
Huang will simply inform you that he’s now willing to buy any item you wish to sell him.
To do this, just hold the object in your hands and interact with him across the counter.
Remember that Huang offers a random amount from a predetermined range of prices for anything you sell.
There’s a chance that if you reject his first offer and try again, he’ll offer you a higher price the second time around. You can do this as many times as you want until you’re satisfied with his bid!
Huang’s Exclusive Shop Offers
Rare Items
There are a few rare goods that you can only sell through Huang’s store. These are mostly late-game items that are difficult to find or create.
Typically these won’t have much use outside of selling for pocket money, so feel free to take them over to Huang if you need extra funds for that new barn upgrade!
