Black Grass is a type of wild grass that can only be found by digging in the dirt inside the Spring Mine or the Lake Mine.

Unlike other colored grasses that can be foraged around Mineral Town, Black Grass must be found by using your hoe on the ground on any floor of either mine.

Mining Locations

Black Grass can be found year-round inside both of the mines in Mineral Town. The Spring Mine is located near the Hot Spring, while the Lake Mine is only accessible during Winter.

We’ve marked both locations on the map below:

1. Spring Mine – to the left of the Harvest Goddess’ waterfall
2. Lake Mine – on the island in the center of Mother’s Lake (only accessible in Winter)

In Recipes

There is only one recipe that uses Black Grass as an ingredient. However, it is one of the most useful recipes for restoring energy.

Black Grass can be sold for a base price of 10 G. Since it can be found year-round in the mines, there are no special seasonal price bonuses when selling it to Huang.
