Diamonds are valuable gems that can be found in the Lake Mine during Winter. While not the rarest gem, they are an ingredient in a very valuable craftable item and are a universally loved gift.
Finding Diamonds
You can find Diamonds by breaking rocks with your Hammer inside the Lake Mine. They appear on specific floors: any floor that ends with the number 0 (e.g., 10, 20, 30) and on all floors from 201 to 255.
You have a better chance of finding a Diamond on higher-numbered floors.
Uses
Diamonds are a key ingredient for crafting a Winter Sun via cooking.
Gifting
Diamonds are one of the best gifts in the game, as they are loved by a vast majority of the villagers in Mineral Town.

Diamonds can be sold for a base price of 100 G. You can sell them through the Shipping Bin, which will count towards your shipping completion list, or directly to Huang.
