Gold is a valuable ore you can find in the Spring Mine. While its selling price is low, it is crucial for the third tier of tool upgrades.
Finding Gold Ore
Gold Ore can be found by breaking rocks with your Hammer in the Spring Mine on floors 6 through 255. You won’t find it on the first few floors.
If you have unlocked the Mine Elevator, you can skip directly to a floor past Level 6 for faster mining.
Uses
The main purpose of Gold Ore is to upgrade your Silver tools to their Gold versions at Saibara’s Forge. Each Gold tool upgrade costs 3,000 G and requires one piece of Gold Ore.
You will also need to have 55% experience with the Silver tool you wish to upgrade.
Gifting
