The Disc (Frisbee) is an advanced pet training toy that can be purchased from Huang’s Shop for 5,000 G.

It’s used at Mineral Beach for a more complex training minigame that can significantly increase your pet’s Training Level and even uncover hidden treasures in the sand.

Location

Visit Huang inside Zack’s house on Mineral Beach starting on Autumn 1st of Year 1. The Disc costs 5,000 G and can only be purchased once per save file.

Using the Disc

The Disc can only be used by adult pets (60+ days old) and it cannot be used during the Winter.

But to play with the Disc, go to Mineral Beach and interact with the sign next to Kai’s cafe while the Disc is in your inventory. Then select a pet to play with and they’ll be transported to the beach.

The fetch minigame features a gauge system where you train your pet to chase longer distances.

The red/green bar on the left shows their progress. Each successful catch increases Training Level by 1 point.

Daily Play Limits

The number of frisbee games you can play per day depends on your pet’s friendship level:

Finding Beach Treasures

Your pet can also dig up treasure while playing with the Disc if certain conditions are met:

• Pet can fetch 30 meters or more
• Progress bar is at least 50% green
• Disc is thrown when the line stops at the yellow area
• Empty slot available in backpack

And here are some of the possible items you can find as treasure:

• Agate
• Ancient Fossil
• Copper Ore
• Gold Ore
• Silver Ore
• Trash (or nothing)
