Material Stone is a construction material obtained by using the Hammer on stones and boulders found around your farm and throughout Mineral Town.
It can also be purchased from Gotts’ Workshop for 50 G each. Material Stone is an essential item used in most building upgrades and farm expansions.
Getting Material Stone
The Hammer will turn Stones and Boulders into Material Stone.
Just use your Hammer on the various stone debris you find around your farm for some early-game material stone.
The very first place you’ll be able to find Material Stone at the start of the game is your own farm in the field.
But you can also find boulders that spawn elsewhere on the map as well.
These areas on the map will regularly respawn boulders, stones, and occasionally other debris:
- Mother’s Hill
- Meadow
- South Forest
- Beach
Also if you don’t have the extra time or stamina to spend on farming for building materials, Material Stone is available to purchase at Gotts’ Workshop for 50 G each.
Using Material Stone
Material Stone is used to purchase building upgrades and home renovations from Gotts.
Almost every farm building upgrade will require some combination of Material Stone and Lumber along with money, so start collecting these materials as soon as you can.
