Daifuku is a simple dessert that you can make in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. The best time to cook Daifuku is in the Spring because you can obtain most of the ingredients needed for it at the start of the season.

Learning the Recipe

Cooking inspiration is something that happens automatically as you make dishes with different ingredients. Once you’ve cooked with an ingredient a certain number of times, you can unlock a new recipe that uses the same item.

The farmer gets inspired to cook Daifuku while in the kitchen.

Ingredients

The recipe for Daifuku might seem simple, but the challenge lies in actually obtaining the ingredients you need. Mochi is a somewhat rare item in Mineral Town, as you can only get it at the start of the year during every Spring.

Any dishes made in your kitchen can’t be shipped through Zack and the Shipping Bin. But you can sell food to Huang once you reach at least 4 FP.

Huang will offer you a price, which you can reject for a chance at getting him to bid higher.

Tip: To sell a dish to Huang, stand in front of his counter while holding the item.
