You’d normally get X Cheese by processing X Milk in the Cheese Maker. But getting X Milk is pretty rare (a chance of 1 in 255 from cows that have won the Moo-Moo Festival).
So if you don’t want to go through waiting for your cow to produce X Milk, then you can just make X Cheese as a recipe by mixing lower-quality milk ingredients.
