There are three different ways to use Cursed Tools that will break the curse and give you their Blessed variants:
- Pay Carter to bless them
- Use the tool 50 times
- Or keep the tool equipped for five days in total
The action you need to take will vary based on which tool you want to Bless.
A Blessed Tool is the second-to-last upgrade that you can unlock for your farming equipment. These Blessed Tools are more efficient versions of the Cursed Tools, because they use up a lot less stamina.
Method 1: Carter’s Blessing
Paying Carter 1,000 G will allow him to bless any of your tools. Doing this once will remove the Cursed Tool from your equipped slot, but it won’t remove the curse permanently.
For the Cursed Hoe and Cursed Watering Can, doing this 5 times in a row will break the curse.

All you need to do is prepare 5,000 G and the Cursed Tool of your choosing. Then visit Carter in his confession booth at Mineral Church between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
You can then select “Unequip a Cursed Tool” out of three options.
Each blessing will cost 1,000 G, and if you do this 4 more times the curse will be permanently broken for the Hoe and Watering Can.
Method 2: Use the Cursed Tool
The Cursed Fishing Rod and Cursed Axe need to be used 50 separate times (at any charge) in order to remove the curse. Just equip either one and start mashing.

If you run out of stamina or become overfatigued, just stock up on food (like Stamina Booster XL or Curry Udon) before starting so you can recharge fast.
Method 3: Keep It Equipped
For the Cursed Hammer and Cursed Sickle, you don’t really need to do anything – which is kind of its own punishment.
You just need to keep each tool equipped for 5 days straight.

During this time, you’ll be forced to either avoid using any tools, or you can only use the Hammer or Sickle for those 5 days.
After the fifth consecutive day, it will finally be replaced by a Blessed Tool.
Benefits of Blessed Tools
The stamina cost of Cursed Tools is pretty rough, but it becomes a lot better once the tool is upgraded to the Blessed level.

|---|---|---|
| Tool | Cursed Stamina Cost | Blessed Stamina Cost |

Unlocking Mythic Ore
Arguably the most important thing you get with Blessed Tools is the ability to mine Mythic Ore from the Spring Mine.
Mythic Ore is the material required to unlock the final tool upgrade, which enhances the power of your farm tools even more.

Once you collect all of the Blessed Tools, you can finally start hunting for Mythic Ores to get your final upgrades: Mythic Tools.
