Van is a traveling merchant who visits Mineral Town weekly. To unlock his visits, you must first give a total of 30 liked or loved gifts to the Harvest Goddess in her pond (one per day).
Once unlocked, Van will appear and set up his main shop on the second floor of the Inn every Wednesday.
He sells various ores and a collection of records for the Record Player.

Van’s Secret Shop
After unlocking Van, you have a random (yet semi-predictable) chance to receive a special item called “Van’s Favorite” in the mail from the Harvest Goddess.
While this item can be sold to Huang for a high price, giving it to Van will unlock a secret high-end inventory at his shop.
Each time you give him a “Van’s Favorite”, he will unlock one of the following rare items for sale, depending on how much money you have in your wallet.
