Huang’s Apple Game

Huang’s Apple Game is a simple shuffling minigame where you’ll need to keep track of the location of his 3 Special Apples.

After you win 10 consecutive rounds of the game, he’ll reward you with a Mystery Flower. But if you only manage to win 9 rounds or less in Huang’s game, he will give you a Mystery Ticket instead. This ticket can be exchanged for various raffle prizes.

Unlocking Huang’s Apple Game

The following requirements are needed to unlock the Special Apple Mini-Game heart event:

• It is between 11:10 AM and 4:00 PM
• You have 6 Friendship Notes or 30,000 Love Points with Huang
• You have seen all of Huang’s previous heart events (1 and 2)
• There is at least one empty slot in your bag

After achieving 6 Friendship Notes with Huang, you can walk into Zack’s house on the beach during the week to trigger the first Apple Game cutscene.

Huang will ask you to play a round of his Apple Game and explain the rules.

He will shuffle 3 of his Special Apples (AEPFE, HMSGB, and SUGDW) 7-8 times and ask you to guess the position of a specific apple.

As you complete more rounds, the shuffling of the apples becomes faster and it will be more difficult to determine the correct apple at the end.

As long as you keep selecting the correct apple, you can keep playing up to 10 rounds until you win a Mystery Flower. Winning 9 or fewer rounds will reward you with a Mystery Ticket.

Winning The Apple Game

The Apple Game can only be played once a day. And while it is a simple game, it can be tough to win 10 rounds straight.

So here are a couple of the best methods and tricks to guarantee a win at the Apple Game.

Method 1: Recording the Shuffling

One of the more obvious ways to win each round is to record Huang while he’s shuffling the apples and double-check the recording before you guess the position.

You can do this in two different ways:

1. Use another device (like your phone) to record your TV or PC monitor
2. Or record your screen directly with a screen recording program (this is easier on PC)

Either way, this is one of the best ways to consistently win at Huang’s game. Because you can easily slow down the footage and just track the one apple you need throughout the whole round.

Method 2: Craft a Cheat Sheet

Another way to exploit Huang’s game is to take note of the starting positions of each apple and the sequence of each shuffle.

You’ll need a pen or another way to jot down notes for this method.

First, we’ll assign values for each Special Apple, and then we’ll assign a number for each type of shuffle. Here are the values we recommend using:

Special Apples:

• A – AEPFE or Angel Eternal Pure Fresh Elegant Apple
• H – HMSGB or Hyper Miracle Sweet Gorgeous Beautiful Apple
• S – SUGDW or Super Ultra Great Delicious Wonderful Apple

Shuffle Numbering:

• 1 – The first apple swaps with the second apple
• 2 – The second apple swaps with the third apple
• 3 – The third apple swaps with the first apple

Then we’ll put together every possible combination for the apples.

Just compare the starting sequence and the order of Huang’s shuffling to the table above, and you’ll get the final order of the apples.

For example:

If the starting sequence is HSA and you get a 13312133 sequence, the apples at the end of the round will be arranged in AHS order.

Then when Huang asks you for the apple in the middle position, you can say HMSGB.

Prizes

Whether you win all 10 rounds or only manage to complete one round, you’ll walk away from the Apple Game with a new prize.

Here’s what you can win and all the things they can be used for:

Prize #1: Mystery Flower (10/10 wins)

One individual Mystery Flower isn’t super useful on its own.

But you can offer 10 Mystery Flowers to the Harvest Goddess to receive a Goddess’ Present. This rare item can be sold to Huang for 1 million G, earning you a profit of 999,000 G if you obtained all Mystery Flowers via the Apple Game.

Prize #2: Mystery Ticket (9/10 wins or less)

The Mystery Ticket is supposed to be a consolation prize for not winning all 10 rounds of the Apple Game, but you can still get some cool things from exchanging these tickets at Huang’s raffle.

To open the raffle minigame, equip the Mystery Ticket from your inventory and interact directly with Huang.

Huang’s raffle will work like a slot machine, where a set of 3 tickets will appear showing a random number between 0 and 9.

Your job is to match at least 2 numbers to win a bag of seeds, or match all 3 numbers to win a Record.

If you win either crop or flower seeds, the number of seed bags you receive will depend on the number shown on the ticket. For example, if you get an 8-8-3 combination, you’ll receive 8 bags of random crop seeds.
