The Blue Feather is the Story of Seasons version of an engagement ring.
It becomes available for purchase at Jeff’s General Store for 1,000 G after witnessing any marriage candidate’s orange heart event.
Use it to propose once you reach 60,000 Love Points (red heart level) and complete all marriage requirements.
Unlocking the Blue Feather
The Blue Feather becomes available once you reach orange heart level (50,000 LP) with any marriage candidate and view their orange heart event.
You must be dating them (by giving the Preserved Flower) and have seen all previous heart events.
Using the Blue Feather
After Jeff informs you that the Blue Feather is in stock, visit the General Store to purchase it for 1,000 G. You can only buy one Blue Feather per save file.
And before your proposal will be accepted, you must complete all marriage requirements for your target spouse.

Special Marriage Candidates
Special marriage candidates (Harvest Goddess, Kappa, Bon Vivant, Huang) will have their own requirements wich are detailed on their villager pages.
But generally, for each of these special candidates you’ll need to:
- Complete their individual marriage requirements
- Achieve 60,000 LP
You’ll need to track your relationship progress manually since there are no heart events for special candidates.
Proposing
Once all requirements are met, give the Blue Feather to your chosen candidate to propose. If successful, you’ll get married 7 days later. Carter will officiate the wedding with all villagers in attendance.
