Alpacas are one of several livestock animals that you can acquire to raise on your farm.
Regular alpacas produce Alpaca Wool which you can harvest with the Clippers. Alpacas take 4 days to regrow their wool after shearing, which is one day longer than Sheep and Suffolk Sheep.
They also have an 8% base chance to produce a rare product (Alpaca Wool +) when sheared, which is the highest default rare drop rate among all wool-producing animals.
Acquisition
Baby Crias and adult Alpacas can be purchased from Ramon’s Critters for 4,000 G and 8,000 G respectively. Unlike Brown Alpacas, regular Alpacas have no Bazaar Rank requirement and are available from the start.
Ramon will only offer Crias (baby Alpacas) initially, but adult Alpacas will eventually be added to his rotation after you have purchased at least one baby Cria.
