Cows are one of several livestock animals that you can acquire to raise on your farm. Regular cows are available from the start with no Bazaar Rank requirement, making them the earliest milk-producing animal you can own.
Other types of cows will become available as you increase your Bazaar Rank. More specifically, the other cow types are: Brown Cows, Black Cows, and Buffaloes.
Cows produce Milk which you can harvest daily using the Milker. Cows all produce the same Milk product, whereas Buffaloes produce a different type (Buffalo Milk).
Each milking session with your Cow will yield 1-3 bottles of Milk based on the following chances:

There is also a 4% base chance for Cows to produce a rare product (Milk +) instead of regular Milk. This chance increases as your animal’s Happiness stat increases.
Acquisition
Calves and adult Cows can be purchased from Ramon’s Critters for 4,000 G and 8,000 G respectively. Cows have no Bazaar Rank requirement and are available to purchase from the start.
Ramon will only offer Calves (baby Cows) initially, but adult Cows will eventually be added to his rotation after you have purchased at least one Calf.
