Silkie Chickens are one of several livestock animals that you can acquire to raise on your farm.
Silkie Chickens produce Silkie Eggs daily, which are laid at the nesting spots inside the barn.
Additionally, each Silkie Chicken has a 4% base chance to produce a rare product (Silkie Egg +) instead of a regular egg. This chance increases as your animal’s Happiness stat increases.
Note: Silkie Chickens must be fed the previous day in order to lay an egg the next morning. They also won’t produce eggs if their health stat is too low.
Acquisition
Silkie Chicks and adult Silkie Chickens can be purchased from Ramon’s Critters for 2,500 G and 5,000 G respectively, but only after reaching Bazaar Rank 2.
Ramon will only offer Silkie Chicks (baby Silkie Chickens) initially, but adult Silkie Chickens will eventually be added to his rotation after you have purchased at least one Silkie Chick.
