Miguel’s Chimney Events

There are a series of events between you and Miguel that you can trigger by entering the chimney on the roof of Miguel’s Mercantile between 12:00 AM and 3:59 AM. These events can occur on any nights except for after a festival.

The scenes change as you keep coming back, with new events unlocking on your 1st, 33rd, 66th, and 100th visits. After the final event, you won’t be able to enter through the chimney anymore.

Everything starts with Miguel being shocked and annoyed to see you, but this gradually turns into you catching him in more personal and often humorous moments.

Part 1: First Break-In (1st–32nd Entry)

Requirements	Have spoken to Miguel at least once Enter Miguel’s Mercantile via the chimney (1st–32nd time)
Description	You drop into Miguel’s shop through the chimney late at night, catching him completely off guard. After briefly being impressed and confused by how you even got in, he quickly snaps back and scolds you for showing up after hours, telling you to come back during regular business hours.

Part 2: Late-Night Brooding (33rd–65th Entry)

Requirements	Enter Miguel’s Mercantile via the chimney (33rd–65th time)
Description	You drop in again despite the scolding and catch Miguel alone, sighing to himself about not being able to talk to Mina. He gets flustered when he notices you, then quickly falls back into his usual routine of shooing you out and reminding you to come back during business hours.

Part 3: Cactus Rehearsal (66th–99th Entry)

Requirements	Enter Miguel’s Mercantile via the chimney (66th–99th time)
Description	You keep coming back no matter how many times Miguel sends you away. This time you catch him planning how to impress Mina, speaking to a cactus as a stand-in. Between rehearsing lines and hyping up his mustache, it’s a surprisingly endearing and slightly embarrassing moment before he notices you and shoos you out again.

Part 4: 100th Visit Celebration

Requirements	Enter Miguel’s Mercantile via the chimney on your 100th visit or later Felipe and Ramon must be in the house (they’re usually around on weekends)
Description	Miguel, Felipe, and Ramon have been waiting to honor your persistence on your 100th visit. After some playful banter and teasing about your “legendary lats,” they congratulate you for making it all the way to 100 break-ins. Miguel admits he doesn’t quite understand the point, but your dedication earns their respect and a proper celebration.
