Flower Festival

The Flower Festival is the first festival you will experience in the game, and it’s the first festival of Spring.

During the Flower Festival, Zephyr Town residents compete to see who can gift the most flowers with the goal of deepening the friendships between villagers.

Winning the Flower Festival will earn you a Flower Festival Trophy (for your first win), as well as Green Tea x3 (Quality ☆2) and a large boost in Friendship Points with all villagers.

While not winning won’t earn you any item rewards, you will still gain a medium boost in Friendship Points for participating. And participating for the first time, regardless of whether you win, will also earn you an achievement and the Flower Child title.

To win, you will need to gift 20 or more flowers before the end of the event.

How to Enter

The day before your first Flower Festival, Felix will arrive at your home to explain the details of the event.

On the first day of the festival, speak with Mayor Felix in the Town Square between 12:00PM and 4:00PM to begin the event. Once the festival officially starts, the villagers will immediately disperse to their usual schedule locations. Flower gifts will not count until Felix has been spoken to.

Only one flower per day may be gifted to each villager. While the event technically ‘ends’ at 12:00PM, you can continue gifting flowers until you speak to Felix. The villagers will gather in the Town Square to hear the results, making it a great time to pad out your numbers quickly.

Flower Festival Event Details

At the end of the Flower Festival, villagers will once again gather in the plaza. Felix can be spoken to anytime between 12:00PM and 4:00PM to trigger the end of the festival.

Upon speaking to Felix, he will announce the winner of the festival. If you have given 20 or more flowers since the beginning of the festival, you will be declared the winner, earning prizes and Friendship Points with all villagers.

Items that count as Flower Festival gifts include any forageable Wild Flowers and Herbs, any flowers grown on your farm, and any type of Bouquet. Grown flowers and Bouquets will earn you more friendship points individually, but will not otherwise affect your prizes.

Prizes & Perks

The Flower Festival is all about quantity over quality, so the prizes for winning remain the same regardless of the quality of flowers gifted. So long as you give 20 or more flowers, you will be declared the winner. You will also earn an achievement and the Flower Child title for participating.
