Honey Day is the third festival of Spring, where you have an opportunity to gain a decent boost in affection with the various bachelors and bachelorettes. Non-marriage candidates will not accept Honey Day gifts.
The goal of this festival is to present a gift of any Honey or Honey Cake to your favorite sweetheart – though you can give a gift to every marriage candidate, if you so choose.
Giving gifts to eligible villagers may earn you a gift in return, so long as you have at least three hearts’ worth of Friendship Points with them.
How To Enter
There are no special requirements to enter or trigger the beginning of the Honey Day event.

You can simply give a gift of Honey or Honey Cake to a marriage candidate on the day of the festival. Choosing not to participate in the festival will not have any negative consequences or loss of Friendship Points.
Honey Day Event Details
In your first year, Felix will visit your farm house to explain the details of the event. Since it is your first year he will provide you with Honey x5, as well as the recipe for Honey Cake.

Either gift (Honey or Honey Cake) is applicable for the festival; though Honey Cake will earn a much larger boost in Friendship Points. The recipe for Honey Cake requires:
- 1 Wheat Flour
- 1 Honey
- 1 Egg
So it’s a good idea to grab some Wheat Flour from Felix’s bazaar stand sometime before the event. Miguel’s Mercantile will eventually carry Wheat Flour as well, but only after the ‘Miguel’s Love Language’ cutscene.
If you do not have enough honey then Cafe Madeleine also sells this item the day before and the day of the festival for 420g a piece. But there is a limit of ten for sale per day.
Prizes & Perks
So long as you have at least three hearts with a marriage candidate, they will give you a gift in return for Honey or Honey Cake.
The return gift depends on the villager, as well as the gift you’ve given them.
