The New Year’s Countdown is the final festival of the year, happening on the very last day of Winter each year.
It’s a festival where villagers gather in the Town Plaza to celebrate the end of a year and ring in the new one with fireworks and community. Attending this event will earn you a boost in Friendship Points, and reward you with a lovely cutscene!
Event Details
On the last day of the year, speak to Mayor Felix in the Town Plaza between 10:00PM and midnight to begin the event.
A cutscene will trigger wherein you will count down to the new year with the rest of the town, followed by some colorful fireworks.
The countdown cutscene ends with you immediately going to bed, so make sure you’ve finished your farm chores before heading to the plaza!
Prizes & Perks
Attending the New Year’s Countdown will earn you a large boost in Friendship Points with all villagers, as well as the ‘3-2-1!’ title.
