The Pet Show in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is the first festival of Summer and Winter. It’s where competitors enter their pets to show off how well they’re training.

During the event, pets perform tricks to impress the judges. Each pet’s performance depends on the pet’s training level and affection level. Placing well in the event rewards you with prizes and boosts your pet’s training & affection values.

Note: Given that the first Pet Show only gives you two days to train your first pet, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to win first place in Summer of Year 1.

How to Enter

On the day of the contest, you can begin the show by speaking to Woofio in the Town Plaza between 12:00PM and 4:00PM. You can then choose the pet you’d like to enter.

Pet Show Event Details

Participants in the Pet Show will need to complete several tricks by entering a sequence of button presses, similar to the training minigame.

Pets that have higher training levels will be asked to perform more complex tricks, which will in turn earn higher points. After completing ten tricks, Woofio will tally the points and declare the winner.

Successfully performed tricks earn your pet anywhere from 10 to 25 points each, depending on the complexity. It is possible to pause during the event, should you need a bit more time to review each sequence.

How to Win

According to the game’s official guide book, the chances to win are somewhat influenced by RNG based on your competitors’ pet values.

But these are the given point ranges to target for each placement:

Prizes & Perks

If you win first place at the Pet Show, you will earn a Pet Show Trophy for your memento shelf, along with Pet Food x50.

Note: The Pet Show Trophy is only awarded one time, as there are no ranked trophies like the Animal Show or Crops Show.

Participating in the Pet Show will also earn you the Pet Owner title, regardless of placement. If you manage to score a whopping 500 points, you will earn the Top Trainer title.

And winning the Pet Show with eight different pets – the maximum amount of pets you can own at a time – also awards a special title.
