Happy Bingo is a feature that was first introduced in the Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar 1.1.0 update. It allows you to earn rewards by completing special bingo cards given by the Nature Sprites.
Each square contains different tasks you can complete such as herding a barn animal, collecting honey, taking a bath, or performing other day-to-day tasks.
Completing a full line in any direction, or finishing the entire card, rewards you with one of the listed prizes on the card.
Getting Happy Bingo Cards
Happy Bingo cards can be obtained from the Happy Shoppe, the bazaar stall run by the Nature Sprites.
When speaking to the Sprites, you can choose from several different bingo cards. The cards vary in difficulty of tasks and rewards earned for completion.
Only one card can be active at a time, but you do not need to finish a card before switching to another card. So you can partially fill one card, switch to another, and later return to the original card to continue unlocking its squares.
Progress on each card is saved individually.
How To Play
When a Happy Bingo card is active, you can begin completing the tasks listed on its squares.
Each square represents a specific action, such as giving gifts to villagers, picking up your chickens, selling specific items at your bazaar, or performing other daily activities.
Completing the required action will automatically unlock that square on the active card and you’ll get a notification on your screen.
Progress is tracked only for the card that is currently selected. If you switch to a different card, new actions will apply to the newly selected card instead.
Note: Any previously-unlocked squares are permanently saved on other cards, and can be returned to at any time to complete the remaining squares.
Completing an entire row, column, or diagonal line will earn you a reward. When you complete an entire card, you earn a larger reward such as an outfit or new recipes.
Collecting Rewards
Happy Bingo rewards can be claimed exclusively at the Happy Shoppe.
After completing a line in any direction (or the entire card), you should speak to Penny at the Happy Shoppe to collect your prize.
After selecting “Happy Bingo” in the bazaar stall menu, you have the option to select “Collect Rewards”. On this screen, you can view any available prizes for completed horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines, as well as the reward for finishing the entire card. Rewards can only be claimed once per completed line or card.
Types of Bingo Cards
There are two main types of Happy Bingo cards: Regular and Deluxe.
Regular cards come in both easy and hard difficulties, while Deluxe cards offer unique one-time completion rewards.
Easy:
These cards contain simpler & less time-consuming tasks.
Rewards typically include medals, accessories, fish bait, fragrances, and basic recipes.
Hard:
These cards feature a bit more challenging tasks and provide higher-value rewards such as valuable meals, fragrances, teas, or ores.
Deluxe Cards:
Deluxe Bingo Cards offer special one-time completion rewards, usually clothing sets and gliders which are often themed and more exclusive than regular card prizes.
The Volume 1 completion rewards include a pirate-themed set which rewards the Captain’s Hat, Captain’s Coat, Seafarer’s Dress, and the Black and Green Pirate Gliders.
The individual lines reward with accessories, medals or other treasure pack items.
Deluxe Card Volume 2 completion rewards include a Sushi Chef set, which rewards the Sushi Chef Cap, Sushi Chef Apron, and two sushi themed gliders: Tuna and Shrimp.
The individual line rewards include recipes and meals themed around fish & sushi.
Viewing Your Bingo Cards
To view your active Happy Bingo card or switch to another card, open the menu and navigate to the last tab.
This screen displays the current bingo card, and you can hover over each square to see the task required to unlock it. From here, you can also browse other available cards and select a different one at any time.
