Your character’s energy in Grand Bazaar is called Stamina. Nearly every action drains stamina, from watering crops to catching bugs.

This page covers everything you need to know about the game’s Stamina mechanic, including how you lose stamina and how to efficiently increase your stamina to achieve more each day.

The Stamina Gauge

Your Stamina is displayed as a gauge in the top-left corner of the screen.

Its color changes based on how much stamina you have left, giving you a quick visual cue of your condition.

Gauge turns yellow and warning message appears when Stamina drops to 50%

A warning message also appears in the center of the screen when your Stamina drops to 50% and 20%.

If your Stamina reaches 0, your character passes out on the spot and the day immediately ends.

Action Costs

Every action you perform consumes your Stamina bar.

You start the game with a max of 1,000 stamina points, and each action reduces your stamina by X number of points, varying based on the action.

Tip: Falling into any water in the overworld drains the most stamina by far, so be especially careful around rivers and ponds!

Using Your Farming Tools

The amount of stamina you lose by using your tools varies by action type: Default (single tile), Jump (affects a wider area), or Double Jump (covers the widest area).

Double jumping with the hoe

The table below lists each tool or farm action you can take, along with how many stamina points you lose each time you use that tool in any of the three action types.

Tool Default Jump Double Jump
Hoe 10 30 70
Watering Can 10 30 70

Tip: The Double Jump technique, unlocked at Felix’s Fixings for 10,000 G, costs more Stamina but hits a much larger area. It’s worth grabbing early.

So it’s worth eating any Power Berries as soon as you get them.
