The weather and wind change every day in Zephyr Town. And both of these things can impact your farm work, windmill processing, and even resident schedules.

This page is a guide to all weather types and wind mechanics in Grand Bazaar, including details on what they affect in the game world.

All Weather & Wind Levels

You’ll find each day’s weather & wind details as icons in the top-right corner of your screen, just below the current time and day.

Preparing for Hurricanes & Blizzards

Hurricanes (Summer) and Blizzards (Winter) are the most destructive weather events.

Unprotected fields can lose up to 70% of their crops, wiping out much of your hard work.

You’ll want to put up Windscreens to protect from these storms. You can craft Windscreens at the Red Windmill and place them the day before a storm.

To set one up, just equip it and interact with the sign next to the field.

It’s worthwhile to stock up on Windscreens in advance so that you’re never caught off guard. Just count how many Windscreens you’d need for each field and Mushroom Log, then craft that many to have ready on demand.

Weather Occurrence Rates

Sunny weather is the most common type of weather in every season, while Rain and Heavy Rain appear less often.

Bazaar days (Saturdays) and festival days are always sunny, regardless of the season.

Wind Mechanics

Wind strength changes daily, just like the weather.

And it always blows from west to east.

Strong winds let you glide farther, making it easier to reach higher elevations and collect rare ores.
