The Cellar is an underground basement area with a field built beneath your home. It will become unlocked after you purchase all other upgrades in the series of field upgrades for your farm.
Unlike your outdoor fields, the Cellar field is completely sealed off from weather. This means rain never reaches it, but neither do Hurricanes or Blizzards.
What makes the Cellar unique is the set of four pedestals inside, one in each corner of the cellar area. These pedestals hold the Seasonal Sun Stones, which simulate seasonal growing conditions in your cellar field.
Prerequisites
Before you can build the cellar, you must first complete two field expansion upgrades, with the third expansion being the cellar itself.
All three upgrades can be ordered from Wilbur’s Workshop at the Bazaar.

How the Cellar Works
Once construction is complete, the Cellar can be accessed from inside your home.
At the corners of the room are four pedestals, each capable of holding one Seasonal Sun Stone.
By placing Sun Stones on these pedestals, the cellar begins to simulate the climate of that season, allowing crops from that season to grow all year long.
You can also place multiple Sun Stones at the same time, allowing crops from different seasons to grow side by side.
For example, you can simultaneously grow Cabbage (Spring/Winter), Pineapples (Summer), and Autumn Tea Leaves (Fall) together in the same field.
