Your farm begins with a single crop field, one pasture, and one barn. But all of that can be expanded through construction services available at two Bazaar stalls.

Wilbur of Wilbur’s Workshop provides new field upgrades, pasture expansion, and home upgrades, while Garon of Garon’s Construction offers soil quality upgrades and the construction of a second animal barn on your farm.

Farm Upgrades Map

All possible farm upgrades will become available for purchase in a fixed progression, so you’ll need to purchase farm upgrades in a specific order as they become unlocked.

Each upgrade adds a new feature onto your farm, and also opens up surrounding terrain around your farm, which spawns forageables and bugs daily.

Below is a map detailing every upgrade you can get for your farmland:

Soil Quality Upgrades (Garon’s Construction)

All of your crop fields, including the Cellar field, are affected by soil quality upgrades that you can purchase from Garon’s Construction at the Bazaar.

Good-Quality Soil Results in higher quality crops 50,000G Rank 3+

How Soil Upgrades Work

Soil upgrades function as a passive quality growth bonus, gradually improving your planted crop quality over time. This effect happens passively without any fertilizer.

For example, in-game testing with radishes showed that:

  • Good-Quality Soil increases crop quality by approximately ★0.5 every three days
  • High-Quality Soil increases quality by about ★0.5 every two days

And those increases were 100% passive without using any fertilizer.

Purchasing these higher-quality soil upgrades allows your crops to reach higher star ratings much faster and without manual work.

Pasture Expansion & Second Barn

Your outdoor pasture can be expanded to increase grazing space for your animals. This also allows you to plant more fodder seeds to be able to support more animals outside grazing.

After the pasture expansion is complete, a second animal barn can then be constructed in the new area.

Second barn housing chickens and large animals
The second barn can house up to 6 chickens and 6 large animals
Upgrade Description Cost Rank Required
Pasture Expansion (Wilbur’s Workshop) Expands the pasture, unlocking the ability to build a second barn 50,000G Rank 3+
Extra Barn (Garon’s Construction) Builds an additional barn, holding up to six large animals and six chickens 100,000G Rank 4+
