Tilling the soil in your fields is the first step to planting crops, but it can also uncover valuable items such as medals and gemstones.
This mechanic is random, but there is a chance for this to happen every day while tilling in your fields.
Simply equip your Hoe and till your field. If an item is unearthed, it will pop out and be automatically collected into your inventory. This is very similar to how dirt mounds work.
Possible Items
Each of your fields can produce up to five excavated items per day.

You’ll notice that Power Berries and Diamonds only appear under specific wind conditions, so checking the daily wind forecast can help if you’re targeting those drops.
