Marriage is one of the two main ending events in Grand Bazaar. Once you propose and the wedding ceremony plays out, the staff credits roll (but don’t worry, the game continues on afterwards).
And once you’re married you can even have a child!
On this page we’ll explain all the requirements you’ll need to meet to successfully propose marriage in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar.
All Marriage Candidates
There are 12 marriage candidates in Zephyr Town: six bachelors and six bachelorettes.
Your character’s gender does not matter as all 12 candidates are available to everyone.

To increase FP and romance your future partner, just talk to your chosen candidate daily, give them gifts, and fulfill their requests.
The 6-Heart Event ❤️
When you reach 6 hearts of FP with a marriage candidate, you’ll unlock a key romance event.
Whoever you’re romancing will ask about your feelings, you must choose between the following replies:

| I’ve fallen in love with you. | They become your lover and unlock sweeter dialogue. |
| You’re a great friend. | You stay close friends. (You can still propose later.) |
You are allowed to date multiple candidates at once. However you can only marry one character, and that choice is permanent.
The Blue Feather
The Blue Feather is the item you use to propose marriage, and there is exactly one Blue Feather per save file.
You receive it during a story event where Stuart and Sonia visit your home and explain the town’s marriage tradition. This event triggers once any marriage candidate reaches 8 hearts or higher.
Just enter your home between 6:00 AM and 7:59 PM, in any weather, and the scene will automatically play.
Once you have the Blue Feather then you can propose marriage — as long as you meet the requirements below.
Marriage Proposal Requirements
All of the following must be true on the day you propose:

If any condition isn’t met, your proposal will be gently declined (each candidate has a unique rejection line). You can trigger this on purpose if you’re curious, and it won’t lock you out of re-proposing again later.
Family/Friend Requirement
Some marriage candidates want reassurance from someone close to them. So to have your proposal accepted, you’ll need to make sure you have the required heart level with their close friend or family member.

Wedding Ceremony
Once your proposal is accepted, Mayor Felix and your partner will visit your home the following day to set the wedding date and let you choose your ceremony outfit.
The ceremony starts automatically as soon as you wake up on the wedding day. The whole town including the Nature Sprites gather together, and Felix officiates.
