In SoS: Grand Bazaar, your upgradeable tools all end up at the same final tier: Ultimate. This is the highest upgrade level offering major improvements like larger areas of effect, lower Stamina usage, and better efficiency.

This page will show you how to get all of your upgradeable tools to Ultimate level.

Prerequisites

Each tool has its own unique material requirements for Ultimate level, but mostly all of your upgradeable tools have similar prerequisites:

Tool must be at Orichalcum level
You must have unlocked the Yellow Windmill
You must have the Purple Wonderstone active in the windmill

Once these requirements are met, you can upgrade any Orichalcum tool up to Ultimate, assuming you have the necessary materials.

Note: you cannot skip any upgrade tier as you progress along a tool’s upgrade path, since each new level requires the previous-leveled tool as a material.

Tip: It’s highly recommended to upgrade to an Orichalcum Hatchet ASAP! This allows you to mine Mithril Ore Nodes sooner, which are required for all Ultimate tools.

Crafting Time

Windmills operate using wind power, meaning your total crafting time can vary based on the daily wind level.

All of the Ultimate Tool upgrades will take 5 days to process by default, but this time can be sped up with windy weather.

Tip: If a Hurricane or Blizzard is in the forecast, start processing an Ultimate tool recipe before the storm arrives.

Ultimate Tools Effects

The ultimate tools provide significant improvements to your farming and foraging efficiency.

At the Ultimate tier, the Double Jump action expands the area of effect of most tools up to 7×10 tiles, allowing you to work an entire farm field with a single action. Below are the specific unlocked effects for each tool:

Stamina Costs

Using tools consumes stamina, and most tools keep the same stamina cost throughout their entire upgrade path (even at Ultimate tier).

But the Hatchet is the only tool whose stamina cost is significantly reduced at the Ultimate level. This is another good reason to work on upgrading your Hatchet first.
