The Brown Firefly (シブイロヒゲホタル) is a firefly that can be caught during summer in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar.
It is a flying bug found in the air near the riverside and Point D (mapped below) in Zephyr Town.
Brown Fireflies only appear during the second half of summer, from the 15th to the 31st, and only during nighttime hours from 8:00 PM to 4:59 AM. They also require clear weather to spawn, appearing only when it’s sunny or cloudy.
