The Ancient Fish Fossil (古代魚の化石) is a rare treasure item that can be caught while fishing in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar.
This item can only spawn in one fishing spot: Zephyr Town (West). The easiest way to fish for it is to stand directly beside the Yellow Windmill and fish from there.
You will also need at least a Silver Fishing Rod, and the weather has to be anything but sunny.
