Emeralds are a green gem that you can get in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar.
They can be mined from Gold Ore Nodes in the Mountain Area, dug up from dirt mounds on your farm, or purchased from The Emp-ore-ium after you reach Bazaar Rank 5.

Quality
The quality level of foraged items (like Emerald) gets determined by your friendship level with Ivy the nature sprite.
Increasing your friendship sprite level with Ivy boosts the star quality of all foraged items you collect. Quality increases every 4 levels, starting at ★0.5 (Lv.0) and maxing out at ★7 (Lv.50).
