Pet Food is a item used to feed your pet dogs and cats. You can craft it at the Red Windmill from a single piece of Wheat, or you can buy it from Miguel’s Mercantile year-round for 126 G.
Pet Food becomes available after the event on Summer 1, Year 1, when Ramon gives you your first pet.
Usage
Your house has a dedicated food bowl that holds up to 20 Pet Food at once. Your pets will eat from the bowl automatically each day.
Once you own 3 or more pets, a second food bowl is added.
Unlike your barn animals which can graze on the pasture, pets cannot eat outdoors. So you need to keep your indoor food bowl(s) stocked or your pets will go hungry, lowering their Friendship level.
