Sprinklers are a farming utility that can be crafted and placed in any field. When placed, these items will automatically water any surrounding tiles twice a day.
You can craft Sprinklers at the Red Windmill, but they require the Purple Wonderstone to be active before the recipe becomes available.
How It Works
Place a Sprinkler on any tile in any farm field (including the cellar field) and it will automatically water all adjacent tiles in a 1-tile radius. It basically waters a 3×3 area centered on the Sprinkler.
Each Sprinkler does take up one tile of planting space, but the time it saves on watering makes the trade-off worth it in mose cases.
All of your Sprinklers will activate at two fixed times each day:

Since Sprinklers water your crops twice per day, the surrounding tiles get the same growth bonus as watering by hand twice. This means all your crops in range will grow at 1.4x speed, and any fertilizer you apply will also get a 1.4x boost.
