There are 15 types of fruit trees in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar that you can grow. Fruit trees start as saplings and mature after 14 days.
A mature tree produces fruit repeatedly during its fruiting season, but trees won’t wither outside their season. So you can keep them planted or cut and store them away for future use.
