A Homemade Meal (Request)

Samir prefers simple, homestyle meals over the extravagant dishes of palace life and is hoping for a homemade touch.

For this request you’ll be asked to cook up a comforting dish (Simmered Fish) to satisfy Samir’s taste for home-cooked food.

Prerequisites

1. Simmered Fish recipe – purchase at Clara’s Diner (Bazaar Rank 5)
2. (Recommended) Fish (Finley) Sprite Level is at 4★ or higher

How to Complete

Step 1: You’ll need to start by catching a fish for the recipe.

To make Simmered Fish you’ll need one of the required fish for recipe (some options listed below), ideally having the fish at 4★-quality or higher.

Below are some easy-to-catch small fish and their conditions, all catchable with a Copper Fishing Rod:

Step 2: Plant and grow Soybeans (available in all seasons except Winter) which will become Soy Sauce for the recipe.

Soybean Seeds can be purchased at Miguel’s Mercantile for 140 G. Fertilize daily to boost your Soybeans to 4★.

Step 3: When your Soybeans are ready, harvest and process them at the Red Windmill into Soy Sauce.

Step 4: Take your Fish and Soy Sauce to the kitchen to cook Simmered Fish.

If your ingredients aren’t high-quality enough, then you’ll have to adapt the recipe by adding other ingredients. Your options are a Green Onion, Burdock, or Sugar to boost the final dish’s quality.

Once the recipe is done, deliver the 4★ Simmered Fish to Samir to finish the request.
